p Echo : The choice to echo command mode characters or not. When set to

ON, typed characters that are sent to the modem are echoed back and

displayed.

q Word Length : Set to Seven or Eight data bits as required.

r Stop Bits : Set to One or Two stop bits.

l Try again. Returns you to MODEM CONNECTION screen where you

can

change your file settings and attempt to communicate again.

Note that the settings you select in TERMINAL mode are only valid in this

mode. When you exit TERMINAL MODE you revert to original file comms.
