For proper operation under Windows operating systems, you need to install
the matching driver. The installation is based on the CDC driver (standard
driver of the operating system), which emulates a virtual RS232 port for the
communication with the USB port. When connecting the interface to the
computer, Windows generates a virtual COM port that can be accessed by
any application just like a real RS232 port. This manual will cover the
Windows 7 installation process, by way of example. Other operating systems
will be similar.
Please follow the steps below for installing the drivers:
 Download the driver software from the internet 

 Copy and extract the archive to your computer (e.g. Desktop).
 Connect the interface to your computer.
 Open the device manager where the interface is listed under Other
