5. INSTALLATION
Install the device on a plane surface or install it in a rack.
5.1 Rack-installation
This device is built for 19" racks (483 mm). The rack you use should be a Double-Door-Rack where you can
o
pen the front panel and the rear panel. The rack should be provided with a cooling fan. When mounting the
controller into the rack, please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the heated
air can be passed on. Steady overheating will damage your device.

ou can fix the controller with four screws M6 in the rack.

Controller EUROLITE DMX Stage Control, the theatre spots EUROLITE PAR-64 (dim mode) and the fog
machine EUROLITE NX-150 (switch mode).
6.2 Connecting the lamps
CAUTION!

Connect your loads via the connectors. The maximum load per channel is 3680 W. Please note that the
maximum current of 189 A must never be exceeded!
The DPMX-1216 DMX uses terminal blocks as output connectors beneath the blind plate on the rear panel.
The DPMX-1216 DMX MP uses 16-pin industrial sockets as output connectors located on the rear panel.
The DPMX-1216 DMX S uses safety sockets as output connectors located on the rear panel.
The DPMX-1216 DMX CEE uses CEE sockets as output connectors located on the rear panel.
