• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply prior to any maintenance or cleaning operations. Allow the steam appliance to cool down before storing away. • Water used in the water tank should be free of additives, perfumes, or any other chemical substances. • Do not overturn or lean the appliance unduly to one side while the appliance is in use. • Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of persons, animals or plants.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE CAUTION: Read the instructions for “Filling the Water Tank” before opening the Safety Cap. Always depress hand grip steam trigger until all pressure/ steam has been vented from boiler. IMPORTANT: Do NOT add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water used in this appliance. Use tap water or distilled/purified water if the tap water in your area is very hard.
USING THE FLOOR BRUSH WITH THE CLOTH - Use a cotton cloth on the brush to catch dirt and protect delicate surfaces. It can also be used on vertical washable surfaces following the same procedure as for the floor IMPORTANT: Please note that bristles may break through thin towels. If you don’t have thick enough towels, please use 2 towels. - Put the cotton cloth (recommended dimensions 45x12 cm) under the brush and put its edges under the clamps. CAUTION: the cloth may heat up.
SMALL BRUSH: When the cotton cloth is used with the small brush, smooth surfaces can be cleaned such as kitchen cupboards and counter tops, range hoods and fridge areas. If the soft nylon bristles are used, shower tiles and screens can be cleaned using the bristles to scrub hard soap deposits. To use: make contact with the surface being cleaned allowing the heat from the steam to soften and lift the dirt. Wipe the dirt and excess moisture from the surface with a cleaning cloth.
