NOTE: The oor brush must be used with the brush adaptor. The brush adaptor is the
piece that connects the oor brush to the extension tubes. The brush adaptor
is also used with the small brush accessory.
If the brush adaptor is not attached to the oor brush upon rst use, then hold the
brush with its bristles up in your left hand. With the brush adaptor pointing downward,
insert it into the hole in the back of the brush, then turn the brush adaptor 180 degrees.
This locks the brush adaptor into the oor brush, now insert the extension tube into
the brush adaptor.
Relling the boiler
When the water in the boiler has run out the red “low water” indicator will illuminate
red and the steam will decrease and stop. Keep the steam gun in the on position until
all the steam is emitted (depressurize). Turn the power switch and the boiler switch
off, it is now safe to open the safety/ller cap and rell with another 1.5L of water.
Turn the power switch and boiler switch on.
CAUTION: Before relling let the boiler cool down or if relling the appliance while it
is still hot, take caution as the rst drops of water might bubble up.
Use caution when opening the Safety/Filler Cap as the cap may be hot during use
and escaping steam can cause scalding.
Switching OFF the Steam Cleaner
Turn off the power and boiler switches.
Unplug the cleaner from the wall socket.
Remove the exible steam hose from the steam socket.
Any remaining water should be emptied from the steam cleaner.
If needed, please ush out the boiler as per the maintenance instructions below.
MAINTENANCE
The SC35 Steam Cleaner should be ushed out every 12-15 rells to minimise the
formation of calcium and other mineral deposits in the boiler. Simply ll the boiler
half way with warm to hot water, shake vigorously and then empty out the water
out along with any calcium and/or mineral deposits from the boiler. If maintenance
on the steam cleaner has not been carried out as recommended and calcium has
accumulated in the steam cleaner, a descaler should be used to remove hardened
calcium deposits from the boiler . If demineralised water is used there is no need to
ush out or descale the boiler. Demineralised water is recommended.
