Optional CD/DVD Device Options
The optional external CD device is available in CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM, or
CD-RW, or Combination CD-RW and DVD-ROM drive configurations. The
CD Device is usually labeled “Drive D:, and may be used as a boot device if
properly set in the BIOS (“Boot Device (Startup Menu)” on page 5 - 9).
Playing Audio CD’s
in Windows 2000
To play audio CD’s in
an external USB CD
Device, follow this pro-
cedure:
Go to Device Manager
(see step 1 of the
Touch Panel driver in-
stallation instructions
on page 4 - 13) and
click “+” next to DVD/
CD-ROM Drives.
Double-click the de-
vice and select the
Properties tab.
Make sure there is a
tick in the “Enable digi-
tal CD audio for this
CD-ROM device.”
