4. The video card(s) will be visible at point on the mainboard (two video cards are
pictured).
5. Carefully disconnect the video card fan cable(s) , and remove screws - .
6. Remove the video card fan(s) (two video card fans are pictured here).
7. Remove screws - from the heat sink in the order indicated on the heat
sink unit label (and heat sink itself).
Heat Sink Screws
Make sure you remove
the heat sink screws in
the order -
(screw
first to screw
last). This order is in-
dicated on the label (and
on the heat sink itself).
Caution
The heat sink, and video
card area in general,
contains parts which are
subject to high tempera-
tures. Allow the area
time to cool before re-
moving these parts.
