Removing the Processor
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over, remove the battery ( page 2 - 5 ) and remove the component bay cover ( page 2 - 8 ).
2. The heat sink will be visible at point on the mainboard.
3. Carefully disconnect cables and , then remove the screws - from the heat sink in the order indicated
(Figure b).
4. Carefully lift the heat sink (Figure 5c) up off the computer.

b. Disconnect the cables
and remove the screws
in the order indicated.
c. Remove the heat sink.

