Removing the Floppy Disk Drive Assembly
1. Follow the sequence of steps 1 to 9 as illustrated in “Removing the System Memory” on page 2 - 14, in order to
remove the back case etc.
2. Carefully disconnect the floppy disk drive ribbon cable "
1" in Figure 2 - 10a
3. Remove screws "
4"-"5 "(Figure 2 - 10a) from the floppy disk drive assembly.
4. Lift the floppy disk drive assembly "
6" off the board.

a. Disconnect the
FDD ribbon cable.
b. Remove the
screws from the
FDD assembly.
