Optional Modules

Installing the 802.11g Wireless LAN

Installation procedure for computers with Bluetooth modem and wireless LAN module.

1. Turn the computer OFF.

2. Remove the keyboard (see page 2 - 11), shielding plate (see page 2 - 12).

3. Gently pull latches & in the direction of the arrows and carefully place the wireless LAN module in the

mainboard’s module socket.

4. Connect the longer antenna cable to the “J1” socket of the wireless LAN module .

5. Replace the shielding plate (see page 2 - 12) and keyboard (see page 2 - 11) by reversing the disassembly proce-

dure.

Note: If the computer

is using a standard

MDC modem mod-

ule, the shorter

(MAIN/ J1) and

longer (AUX/ J2) an-

tenna cables should

be connected to the

wireless LAN mod-

ule.
