System Configuration Utility (SCU)
The System Configuration Utility (SCU) is a ROM-based configuration utility that displays
the system’s configuration status and provides users with a tool to set their system
parameters. The settings are stored in non-volatile battery-backed CMOS RAM which
saves the information even when the power is turned off, and retains that when the
system is turned back on.
