Powering the System
AC Power Adapter
Use only the power adapter that comes with your Notebook Computer.
System operation with an incorrect power adapter will cause damage to
the Notebook and its components.
1. Plug the power adapter to the DC-in socket on the left panel of the
Notebook.
2. Connect the power cord to the power adapter.
3. Plug the AC power cord into a properly grounded outlet (Figure 1-3).
4. Refer to Chapter 1, System Status LED Indicators for more
information on system power status.
