GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The Eureka hand held steamer is designed to thoroughly clean hard surfaces and upholstery that will withstand high heat. Do not use on soft plastics, unsealed wood, and cold glass. WARNING: On surfaces that have been treated with wax or some no wax floors, the sheen may be removed by the heat and steam action. Do not use on unsealed wood. This could cause the woodgrain to rise.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE (continued) The hand held steamer’s articulating nozzle allows the steam to be directed as desired. To use the articulating nozzle, align the single marks on the attachment and appliance, push the attachment onto the articulating nozzle until it covers the round gasket (See page 7). Now turn clockwise until the single mark on the attachment is aligned with the double mark on the appliance. Now you can direct the steam as desired. Hexagonal end of nozzle 5.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE (continued) 7. To attach the steamer strap to the steamer. Position the steamer and steamer strap as shown above. Place the steamer strap at an angle across the top of the steamer. Wrap both ends of the steamer strap around the steamer as shown above. The ends will meet at the top of the steamer. Push them together to fasten. 8. To attach the shoulder strap to the steamer strap. Ring When the steamer strap is installed properly the ring on the strap will be at the top.

How to start the Hand Held Steamer Steam Delivery Button 7. Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet. The power on light will come on. Steam will be ready after about 3 to 4 minutes. Do not leave the appliance unattended during the waiting period. Press steam delivery button to release steam. Power On Light As soon as the steamer emits steam, begin using it, passing slowly over the surfaces to be cleaned. This is the ideal method for thoroughly cleaning your surfaces.
