• Never insert spoons, forks or other utensils into the pouring lip or into the
coffee bean container for any reason whatsoever while the appliance is
operating.
• Always switch off the appliance before removing obstructions from the
dispensing spout.
• Should a foreign body lock the motor, switch the machine off immediately
and contact an authorized service centre.
• Do not expose the machine to atmospheric agents (sun, rain, etc.).
• The appliance cannot be used in extreme environmental conditions and
in any case outside the temperature range (-5°C ÷ +40°C).
• Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance at any
time.
• This appliance cannot be used by children aged from 8 years up and by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or by people
without the necessary skills and experience unless under supervision or
having received duly instructions on the appliance use. Cleaning cannot
be carried out by children without supervision.
• The owner shall be responsible for checking that the machine is installed
in tolerable environmental conditions such as to not to create health or
safety hazards for those using the machine.
• If an appliance of this kind is used no longer, it is advisable to render it
inoperative after having unplugged it by cutting the power cord.
• In case of machine breakdown or malfunction, switch the appliance off
and do not tamper with it.
PRESERVATION OF THE MANUAL
This manual must at all times be available to the user and/or the person
performing maintenance on the machine, who must be informed about the
correct use of the machine and any residual risks. This manual must be
preserved in a clean, dry place away from sources of heat. This manual
must be used in a manner such as not to damage it or any part of its con-
tents. Do not remove, tear out or re-write any part of this manual for any
reason. In case of loss of this manual or for further information, please
contact your area retailer or the manufacturer.
REMOVING PACKING
• Make sure the appliance is not damaged by checking the outer surface
of the packing.
• After having removed the packing parts carefully, verify that the machine
has no signs of damage.
• Check the parts for their integrity, in case of faults or damages of the
appliance, contact the authorized dealer immediately.
• The packing elements (cardboard, cellophane, staples, polystyrene, etc.)
can cut, wound or become dangerous if they are not handled with care
or are used improperly. Do not leave within the reach of children or irre-
sponsible persons.
