Control Module Expansion Port
General Description
On the back of each System 5 Control Module (CM401, CM402, and CM408,) is a DB25
Euphonix Expansion Port. This port is a hardware interface to external devices, and supports 8
switch inputs and 8 LED/relay drive outputs. This document describes the pinout and typical
usage of this port.
Physical Pinout
The Expansion Port on the module is a DB25 female connector. A DB25 male cable needs
to be built to interface to this port (pictured below). The pinout has been configured for easy
interface to the Euphonix GP132 box, and is as shown on the following page:
