FUNCTIONS
Turning the programme selector knob (A) clockwise or anticlockwise you scroll through 11 different functions,
which are shown on the display.
1. ROOM TEMPERATURE AIR DEFROST
With this function, the fan alone is switched on, which circulates air over frozen
food, to defrost it very slowly. The time necessary to defrost depends on the
quantity and type of food.
2. CONVENTIONAL OVEN
With this function, the upper and lower heating elements are switched on,
distributing heat over the food from above and below. This is suitable for cooking
all types of food (meat, fi sh, bread, pizza, cakes, etc.).
3. FAN ASSISTED CONVENTIONAL OVEN
With this function, the upper and lower heating elements are switched on and
the irradiated heat is distributed by the fan. This mode is particularly suitable for
cooking rapidly and evenly on different racks simultaneously (fi g. 7).
4. HOT AIR DEFROST AND WARM
With this function, the lower warming element is switched on and the irradiated
heat is distributed by the fan. This function is particularly suitable for defrosting and
warming ready made dishes.
5. OVEN WITH LOWER ELEMENTS ONLY
With this function, the lower element is switched on. This function is particularly
suitable for dishes that require less heat on top (e.g. cakes topped with fruit or jam,
cheesecakes and dishes to be gratinated later) or to complete cooking dishes that
are already browned to perfection. This function is also ideal for warming ready
made dishes.
6. FAN ASSISTED OVEN WITH REAR ELEMENT
With this function, the rear element is switched on and the heat is circulated by
the fan. The heat is therefore evenly and rapidly distributed throughout the oven,
allowing different dishes on different racks to be cooked simultaneously (fi g. 7).
7. PIZZA OVEN
With this function, the lower and rear heating elements are switched on and the
irradiated heat is distributed by the fan. This function is ideal for baking a perfect
pizza, making it crispier underneath and softer on top.
