2.1 Product information
This system manual applies to the following Euchner GmbH + Co. KG equipment:
The AS-i Safety Monitor in a stainless steel enclosure is an E-STOP switching de-
vice which monitors safety configured slaves and correct function of the network.
The safety unit provides 4 inputs which can be defined as either EDM or as
START inputs.
The unit features two hierarchically equal AS-i circuits and four output switching
elements (two safety relays and two semiconductor outputs).
Features:
• Greater computing power to allow more function modules
• Graphical display for better diagnostics
• Optional storing of configuration data on an interchangeable memory card.
• EDM & START inputs can be defined freely
