11-4 Crankcase Disassembly
• Remove the cam chain setting plate.
• Remove cam chain.
• Loosen the pivot bolt and remove the tensioner.
• Loosen the 2 bolts on the right crankcase.
• Loosen the 11 bolts on the left crankcase.
• Place the right crankcase facing downward and
the left crankcase facing upward.
• Gently tap the left crankcase with a plastic
hammer to remove it.
• Care should be taken not to damage the contact
surfaces.
