• Remove the drive shaft bearing setting plate (one

bolt).

• Remove the drive shaft.

• Special tool: Shaft protector

• Remove the gasket and dowel pin

• Unless it is necessary, do not remove the drive

shaft from the case upper side.

• If the drive shaft is removed from the gear box,

the bearing and oil seal must be replaced.
