9-4 Disassembly of Transmission
• Remove gear change lever (1 bolt).
• Remove the 3 bolts.
• Remove the drive chain protector.
• Remove the 2 bolts shown in the picture.
• Remove the drive sprocket fixing plate,
drive chain, and drive sprocket.
• Remove gear oil fill bolt.
• Place an oil pan under the ATV.
• Remove the gear oil drain bolt.
• After draining, check whether washer can
be re-used. Replace if not.
• Install the oil drain bolt.
• Torque values:
Gear oil fill bolt 3.5-4.5 kgf-m
Gear oil drain bolt 0.8-1.2 kgf-m
