Driven Pulley Installation
• Press the drive belt into the pulley groove, and
then pull the belt onto the drive shaft.
• Install drive face, washer, and nut.
• Ensure the two sides of the pulley surfaces
are free of grease. Clean with cleaning
solvent if necessary.
• Hold the drive face with a universal holder.
• Tighten nut to specified torque.
• Torque value: 8.5-10.5kgf-m / 61-76 lbf-ft
• Install the left crankcase cover.
8-7 Clutch Outer/Driven Pulley
Disassembly
• Remove drive belt, Outer clutch, and driven
pulley.
• Install clutch spring compressor onto the
pulley assembly, and press the compressor to
let the wrench be installed more easily.
• Do not overexert the compressor.
• Hold the clutch spring compressor onto bench vise,
then remove mounting nut with a special service
tool.
• Release the clutch spring compressor and remove
the friction plate, clutch weight, and spring from the
driven pulley.
• Remove the seal collar from the driven pulley.
