5-7 Float Chamber
Disassembly
• Remove the three mounting screws.
• Remove the carburetor bowl.
• Remove the float pin, float, and float valve.
Inspection
• Check the float valve and valve seat for
damage or blockages.
• Check the float valve for wearing, and check
the valve seat face for wear or dirt.
Caution
In case of wear or dirt, the float valve and valve
seat will not tightly seal, causing the fuel level to
increase and as a result, fuel flooding. A worn out
or dirty float valve must be replaced with a new
one.
