• Remove the balance shaft from the right
crankcase.
• Remove the crankshaft from the right crankcase.
• Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
• Gently scrape gasket residue off the crankcase
contact surface.
• Do not damage contact surface of the gasket.
• It is recommended to moisten the gasket residue
for easier removal.
• Remove the left crankcase oil seal.
