USER MANUAL WEATHERTRACKERFR800 POWERING THE FR800 The FR800 can be powered by 3 D cell batteries or with an AC adapter (included). Install the 3 D cell batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the radio, matching them to the polarity diagram. Plug the AC adapter into the upper socket on the left side of the radio. Battery condition is shown on the right side of the display with a battery symbol that’s filled with black hatch marks.
VOLU M E EA R VOLUME CONTROL Turn the VOLUME knob (located on the upper right side of the radio) up to increase the volume, down to decrease the volume. Always turn down the volume before using earphones. EA R VO LU ME Volume control USING HEADPHONES VOLUME E AR Headphone input USING THE AUDIO IN SOCKET VO LUME Using a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) stereo plug, plug the audio source into the AUDIO IN socket (left side of radio) with the radio turned on and set to AM or FM.
USER MANUAL WEATHERTRACKERFR800 SETTING THE TIME ALERT SINGLE COUN TY MU LTIPLE MU LTIPLE Turn off the radio and press the MENU button. SETUP TIME appears in the display. Press the button and the hour flashes. Press the buttons to adjust the hour. Once the hour is adjusted press the button and the minutes flash. Press the buttons to adjust the minutes. Press MENU twice to exit and to save the setting.
SNOOZE SETTING Once the alarm activates, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily deactivate it and sleep a little longer. It will reactivate automatically after 5 minutes. This can be repeated up to 5 times. When SNOOZE is on, a box with SNZ appears next to the bell in the display. AM/FM BROADCAST RECEPTION EA R VO LU M E Turn on the radio. Press the AM/FM button, AM or FM will appear on the top left of the display with the frequency to the right of it, in KHz for AM and in MHz for FM.
USER MANUAL WEATHERTRACKERFR800 RECEPTION OF NOAA WEATHER FREQUENCIES To hear your local weather station, pull up the antenna, turn on the radio and press the WB button at the top of the radio. Turn up the volume and press the buttons to go through all 7 weather channels. WB and CH appear at the top of the display, with 1-7 next to CH. You’ll probably only hear one channel, but if you hear a weather broadcast on more than one, select the strongest.
SETTING ALERT MODE (SIREN or VOICE) Turn off the radio and press the MENU button. SETUP TIME appears in the display. Press the button twice. ALERT appears in the upper part of the display, with SIREN or VOICE to its right. Press the button and SIREN or VOICE flashes. Press the buttons to select the one that you wish to hear when an ALERT is activated. Press MENU twice to exit and save the setting.

Installez les 3 piles boutons 3D dans le compartiment des piles à l’arrière de la radio, en faisant correspondre avec le schéma des polarités. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur à la fiche supérieure sur le côté gauche de la radio. L’état des piles est indiqué sur le côté droite de l’affichage avec un symbole de batterie qui est rempli de bandes noires.

Augmentez le volume et appuyez sur les boutons pour parcourir les 7 canaux météo. WB et CH apparaissent en haut de l’affichage, avec 1-7 suivant CH. Vous n’entendrez probablement qu’un canal, mais si vous entendez une émission météo sur plus d’un canal, sélectionnez la plus puissante.
