In order to meet the needs of increasingly mobile customers and employees, Eaton is offering a mobile
solution for communication and product information from June 2011.
Clearly designed shelf view
The Eaton Catalogs app offers an outstandingly clear user interface and several fully developed functions.
In the form of a shelf view, the user is provided with a clear overview of Eaton's latest product catalogues.
These can be leafed through on the fly or downloaded to the device – for situations when there is no
Internet access. Choose for yourself which catalogues are of interest and keep up-to-date using the Update
function.
Intuitive browsing, searching and finding
Users can simply browse through the catalogues with intuitive navigation ensured. A linked table of
contents, thumbnail views and a rapid search function are also provided for finding information quickly and
conveniently.
Linked data sheets
It is often the case that product information is required which is not available in the product catalogues. The
“Eaton Catalogs” contain article numbers and type designations that are linked to the Online Catalogue.
This enables the user to access highly detailed production information in the form of a technical data sheet.
From here other documents such as installation instructions and technical publications can be called up.
Whether on the building site, at the customer, on the train or at
home – “Eaton Catalogs” make sure that all product information is
close to hand.
