SETTINGS
Changing user settings
1. Touch the On/Off key to switch on the hob. Touch the On/off key again within 3 seconds.
▷ The hob goes into standby.
▷ The pause key flashes (maximum 60 seconds).
2. Touch and hold the pause key.
3. Now touch each cooking zone key, starting with the left-front cooking zone button and
proceeding in the clockwise direction.
▷ The menu function appears in the display for the left-front cooking zone. ‘U’ and a value
flash alternately on the display.
4. Select the setting you want to change using the slide control.
▷ The menu function value appears in the display for the left-front cooking zone.
5. Touch and hold the On/off key for 2 seconds to save the settings and exit the menu.
▷ Touch the pause key to exit the menu without saving the changes.
The table below shows the available settings.
Menu value Function Value
U2 Volume for keys 1 - 9 (default: 9)
U3 Volume for audio signal 1 - 9 (default: 9)
U4 Brightness of display 0 - 9 (default: 0, brightest)
U5 Timer animation 0: Timer animation off
1: Timer animation on (default)
U6 Automatic pan detection 0: Automatic pan detection off
1: Automatic pan detection on (default)
U7 Length of audio signal 0 - 2 (default: 0)
