Getting Started
Connecting your device to
the Router
Follow the n e xt steps to c reate a Wireless Local Area Network
(WLAN) to pro v i d e Internet a c c e s s to 802.11b, 8 02.11g and
802.11n wire l e s s - e q u i p p e d c o m p u t e rs or smartphones.
Step 1 – Connect the 3G USB Modem.
Plug t h e E t i s a l a t s u p p l i e d 3 G U S B m o d e m into the USB port.
Charging your battery
If y o u use the Tra v e l Router u n t i l the b a t t e r y has completely
drained, it will p o w e r off. If this occurs , let t h e unit charge
overnight.

To charge your battery please complete the following steps:
1. With th e battery inserted into your Tra v e l Router connect
the supplied p o w e r adapter t o the w a l l power outlet and
to the micro USB socket on the Travel Router.
2. Leave it to charge until the power LED lights up solid
Green.
Step 2 – Plug in the power
Connect the power adapter to t h e port o n the b a c k panel
of your Travel R o u t e r. Then p l u g the other end o f the power
adapter into a wall outlet or power strip.
Step 3a – Connect a computer or smartphone via Wireless
Using your wire l e s s d e v i c e , s c a n th e wireless networks in
your area and select the network called Etisalat Travel
Router, t h e n click connect. When the s e c u r i t y key prompt is
displayed enter the security key 3GT1WNE0
Step 3b – Connect a computer via Ethernet
Press the Reset button on the Router and connect one end
of the Ethernet cable to the WAN/LAN Port on the back
panel of the Travel Router, a n d the other end to the RJ45
Ethernet port of t h e la p t o p or desktop PC you would like
to use.
