4. Can not remember your encryption key. What should
you do?
If you forgot your encryption key, the Wireless device will
not b e able to establish a connection to y o u r Travel Router.
To re s e t the encryption ke y ( s ) , login to th e Travel Router
web configuration using an Ethernet connection.
5. How do you reset your Travel Router to its factory
default settings?
To factory reset t h e Travel R o u t e r to its f a c t o r y default
settings, follow the steps listed below:
• Ensure that the router is powered on (for a t least 1
minute).
• Press the re s e t button for at l e a s t ten seconds and release.
At t h i s point, the reset is in pro g ress. Do n o t power off
the unit at this point.
• After your Travel R o u t e r re b o o t s , the d e f a u l t settings are
now restore d . This entire process t a k e s several m i n u t e s
to complete.
• Once yo u have re s e t the router to its default settings
you will be able to access t h e device’s web c o n f i g u ration
using http://192.168.20.1 with username/password of
“admin”.
6. What you can do if the Ethernet cable does not work
properly
• The Travel Router’s Ethernet port is a WAN p o r t by
default, simply pre s s the reset button down for on e
second f o r the WAN port to switch to become a L A N
port.
• Ensure that there is a solid cable co n n e c t i o n between
the Ethernet p o r t on the Tra v e l Router, a n d your NIC
(Network Interface Card).
• Check t h a t the settings o n your network a d a p t e r are
“Enabled,” and set to accept an IP address f rom t h e DHCP
(Please refer to the Computer Hardware Configuration
section in this manual for additional information).
• If a l l settings a p p e a r to b e correct, ensure that y o u
are not using a crossover Ethernet cable. Although t h e
Travel Router is MDI/MDIX compatible, not all N I C a re.
Therefore, it is recommended that you u s e a stra i g h t
through Ethernet cable when possible.
7. What you can do when your Travel Router has no
power
