Getting Started
Using the Router with the Etisalat 3G Mobile Broadband
Internet Service

To co n f i g u re a 3G WAN c o n n e c t i o n , please f o l l o w these
steps:
• Mouseover I n t e r n e t S e t t i n gs and click on WWAN
• Theapp ropriateEtis alatprofile andAPNare selectedbydefaul t
•  If y ouw ish t oen ter a dif feren tAP Ntou se, c lic kon t he“Profi le
Na me” pu ll dow n men u a nd sel ect an un use d p rofi le
• Click in the “APN” se c t i o n and en t e r : etisalat.ae
(or your provided APN if necessary)
Otherwise if:
• Yo u r S I M c a rd re q u i res a PIN code
• Your 3G bro a d b a n d s e r v i c e provider requires y o u t o
input the username/password for your 3G connection.
• You wish to u s e ot h e r al t e r n a t e 3G connection details
(such as a special APN)
Please enter any o t h e r relevant i n f o r m a t i o n on this screen
as provided by Etisalat
• Click Apply to save the settings
• If everything is configure d p roperly, t h e S t a t u s p a g e w i l l
show that y o u r 3G service is online a n d the WAN IP
address that has been assigned.
Using the Travel Router with a fixed line Broadband
Internet Service (DSL/Cable)

To configure a non WAN connection (Static, D H C P, P P Po E ,
PPTP), please follow these steps:
• Mouseover Internet Settings and click on WAN
• Select your WAN Connection t y p e fro m the dropbox
(Static, DHCP, PPPoE, PPTP)
• Enter the relevant information on t h i s s c reen a s supplied
by your Broadband ISP
• Click Apply to save the settings
• If everything i s c o n f i g u red pro p e r l y, the Status page
will s h o w that y o u r WA N service i s online a n d the WAN
IP address that has been assigned. Non-3G connection
