Page 50 User’s guide ref 9018809-01 XSRING+ SHDSL switch
An example is given hereafter :
Minimum bandwidth Maximum bandwidth
% of the whole bandwidth % of the whole bandwidth
CLASSES :
Platinum - unlimited
Gold 20 % 30 %
Silver 30 % 20 %
Bronze 10 % 40 %
Total 60 % 90 %
Assigning each traffic to the classes
Each traffic (Service plus device) entering the shdsl network can be assigned to one class; Any traffic not assigned to one
class is supposed to belong to the default class.
How it works ?
The IP data flow entering the XSRING switch is analysed and marked as premium or gold or silver or
bronze or default and then transported through the shdsl network with the relevant priority.
