IDLE2 Mode
TheIDLE2ModeisenteredwhenanHALTinstructionisexecutedandwhentheFHIDENbitinthe
SCCregisterishighandtheFSIDENbitintheSCCregisterislow.IntheIDLE2ModetheCPU
willbeswitchedoffbutthehighspeedoscillatorwillbeturnedontoprovideaclocksourcetokeep
someperipheralfunctionsoperational.
MCD (Missing Clock Detector) function
ThereisaMissingClockDetector,MCD,inthisdevice.TheMCDisusedtodetectthehighspeed
oscillatoroperationwhenthecorrespondingoscillatorisenabled.Iftheoscillatorisenabledandno
clockcycleisdetectedbytheMCDincertainperiodoftime,itmeansthattheoscillatordoesnot
oscillatesuccessfullyandthentheMCDwillgenerateasignaltoresetthemicrocontroller.
