downthelowvoltagedetectorwillremainactiveiftheLVDENbitishigh.AfterenablingtheLow
VoltageDetector,atimedelayt

shouldbeallowedforthecircuitrytostabilisebeforereadingthe

voltagemayriseandfallratherslowly,atthevoltagenearsthat

LVD Operation
TheLowVoltageDetectoralsohasitsowninterruptwhichiscontainedwithinoneoftheMulti-
functioninterrupts,providinganalternativemeansoflowvoltagedetection,inadditiontopolling
theLVDObit.Theinterruptwillonlybegeneratedafteradelayoft
LVD
aftertheLVDObithasbeen
sethighbyalowvoltagecondition.WhenthedeviceispowereddowntheLowVoltageDetector
willremainactiveiftheLVDENbitishigh.Inthiscase,theLVFinterruptrequestagwillbeset,
causinganinterrupttobegeneratedifVDDfallsbelowthepresetLVDvoltage.Thiswillcausethe
devicetowake-upfromtheSLEEPorIDLEMode,howeveriftheLowVoltageDetectorwakeup
functionisnotrequiredthentheLVFagshouldberstsethighbeforethedeviceenterstheSLEEP
orIDLEMode.
