10 LAN interface
The product provides 2 switched Ethernet interfaces called LAN interface.
An IP address must be assigned to that interface and the Ethernet ports
must be setup.
10.1 IP protocol
• Click the « Configuration» menu and then « LAN interface» and
then “IP protocol”.
“IP address” parameter :
Enter the IP address assigned to the serial gateway over the LAN
interface.
That IP address will have to be entered to display the administration
server.
”Netmask” parameter
:
Enter the IP netmask.
”Default gateway” parameter
:
Enter the IP address of the default gateway over the LAN network.
10.2 Ethernet ports
• Click the « Configuration» menu and then « LAN interface» and
then “Ethernet ports”.
“Hub mode” checkbox :
Select that checkbox if you need to receive the whole Ethernet traffic on
both Ethernet ports.
That function can be useful for test trouble-shooting purposes, for
instance.
”LAN port 1” and “LAN port 2” parameters
:
Select the data speed 10 or 100 Mb/s, and the half or full duplex mode.
Or select the “auto” mode.
