General Operation and Use Guidelines
The operating temperature range for this device is -5°50°C (23°122°F), 5-95%
non-condensing humidity. Do not operate the device outside of this range.
Store the HQ-100 Haze Fluid in a location that maintains a temperature of 0°–40°C (32°–
104°F).
This device should only be operated with the maximum alternating current that is stated in
the technical specifications label provided on the device.
Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation. Consistent operation breaks
may extend the life of the hazer.
When choosing the installation location, make sure the device will not be exposed to
extreme heat, moisture, or dust.
Operate the device only after having familiarized yourself with its functions. Do not permit
others who are not qualified or familiar with its functions to operate the device.
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported. ETC will not be
responsible for damage to the device if packaging other than manufacturer-provided
packaging is used.
Do not modify the device. Any modifications will void the product warranty.
This manual describes the proper installation and operation of the device. Using the
device in any way other than the intended use may cause personal injury or equipment
failure and may void the warranty.
When the device has been stored or transported in cold temperatures, allow it to warm to
room temperature for a minimum of one hour before applying power. Applying power to a
cold device may cause damage to the device and void the manufacturer warranty.
The HQ-100 Performance Hazer is designed to only use HQ-100 Haze Fluid. Use of other
haze fluid is not allowed and will void the product warranty. The HQ-100 Haze Fluid has
been approved for use in the HQ-100 Performance Hazer as specified by the Actors Equity
Association.
Never operate the hazer without haze fluid.
