This appendix outlines the setup and configuration of your Eos™ Remote Processor Unit 3 (RPU3),
Eos Remote Processor Unit (RPU), Remote Video Interface 3 (RVI3), and Remote Video Interface
(RVI).
RPU3 and RPU Overview
The Eos RPU3 and RPU can be used as a primary, backup, or client processor in an Eos system.
It can also be used for independent playback applications. For more information on multi-console
terms such as “Primary” or “Backup”, please see Multi-console and Synchronized Backup, page
389.
Eos RPU3 and RPU ship with the following:
