III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before you can use the appliance, its batteries must be charged (cordless use).
The operation time for one charge depends on the attachment used and workload.
Attachment is around 50 minutes. When using the cord, a continuous operation should not
exceed 30 minutes. Then let the appliance cool o󰀨 for 30 minutes.
To Charge/Recharge
Fully charge Clipper before using for the first time or after non- use for a long period of time.
Battery performance is best if you recharge only when the battery is (almost) completely empty.
Charging or recharging at temperatures below 10 °C or higher than 40 °C adversely
affects lifespan of the battery.
Continuously recharging Clipper will reduce lifespan of battery.
1) Be certain Clipper is OFF.
2) Connect the trimmer to the adapter and plug the adapter to the mains.
3) It will take approximately 8 hours to fully charge the Clipper.
Do not exceed the set time of
charging! Do not exceed the set time of charging! There is an indicator the light A2 begins to
red during charging. That is why it is necessary to watch and keep the set time of charging.
4) After charging, unplug the adaptor from the mains rst and only then unplug the
connector from the appliance.
Optimize the working life of the battery
After the Clipper has been charged for the first time, do not recharge the Clipper between
trimming sessions. Continue using it until the battery is completely empty.
Do not charge for more than 8 hours.
Do not keep cord permanently plugged in.
Discharge / run down the battery completely twice a year by letting the motor run until it
stops. Let the battery charge fully afterwards.
Use
The trimmer can be used without the adapter (for cutting contours) or with the selected
adapter B1B7 according to the required cut length. Mount the attachment to the trimmer
head so that the B8 lock on both sides fits properly.
Note
When removing the attachment (B1B7), release the B8 lock with your fingers (see Fig. 1).
