Remove all the packing material and take the scale out. Remove all possible adhesion foils,
stick–on labels or paper from the scale. Open the battery cover on the bottom of the scale,
insert the battery with the correct polarity and close the cover in the opposite direction.
Place the scale on flat, stable and dry surface. Turn on the scale by tapping your foot on the
weighing surface and check the weight unit displayed on the display (kg). If you prefer
to set st:lb or lb unit, you can switch it over after you turn on the scales (in weighing mode)
by pushing one of the directional arrow-button ( , ).
kg = kilogram 1 kg = 2.2 lb
lb = pound (British weight unit) 1 lb = 0.454 kg
st:lb = stone:pound (American/British weight unit) 1 st = 6,356 kg
FT;In = feet;inches 1 FT = 30.48 cm; 1 In = 2,54 cm
Replacing the batteries
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the scale (pic. 2). Insert a battery with the right
polarity and close the cover. Use AAA batteries (3 pcs) for this appliance. If you are not using
the appliance for some time, take the batteries out!
