These are open type devices, Certified for use only as component parts of other equipment
where the suitability of the combination is determined by the CSA International.
2. The following additional suffixes may be added: G, AG, IG (followed by 1 or more digits),
K, L (followed by 1 or more digits), P (followed by 1 or more digits), PR, PS, S (followed
by 1 or more digits), ST, H, T, A3, AS, TROP, VZ, M, MO, ZR, DD, DZ or TC.
3. The 43-200 and 45-200 protectors are used with "E-T-A" Nbr. (No) 20, 40 or 60 contact
blocks.
4. The contacts for Types 44-500 and 44-800 are rated 15A, 250V ac, 65V dc.
5. Cat No 3120 may be single pole or two pole thermally protected, or two pole only one pole
thermally protected. 3120 is followed by a series of alphanumerics suffixes indicating
different characteristics. Suffix -X3120-UBBXXZ indicates use of Zero voltage release
module.
6. Cat No 41-04-PR-014813 is suitable for pcb mounting.

suffixes), single pole, max ratings: 5 to 15A, 250V ac and less; 19 to 25A, 125V ac and less.
Supplementary protectors, manual reset type, thermal trip, Series 1658, 5 to 30A, 125V ac,
5 to 15A, 250V ac, 16A, 240V ac, 5 to 30A, 32V dc.
Appliance component protectors, thermal trip, manual reset with manual switching feature,
single pole, Series 1110 with suffixes, 0.05-16A, 250V ac and less, 50V dc and less (0.05-
10A rated device investigated for motor overcurrent protection).
Appliance component protectors, magnetic trip, shunt trip or relay trip, manual reset, with
manual switching feature, with or without auxiliary contacts, Series 8340 (F, G and T), 1-,
2-, 3-, 4-pole, 30A and less, 250V ac and less, 50/60Hz, 65V dc and less. (Series 8340
protectors have been investigated for motor overcurrent protection).
Appliance component protectors, thermal-magnetic trip, manual reset, with manual
switching feature, with or without auxiliary contacts, trip-free mechanism. Types 1492
followed by GS followed by 1, 2, or 3 followed by G, followed by a three digit number,
may be followed by H1, H2, H1H1, or H1H2, rated 1- to 4-pole, 32A and less, 277/480V ac
and less, 65V dc and less.
Notes:
1. Suffix letters and/or numbers added to series designation indicate type of construction and
special features.
2. These devices are Certified as components for use only in other Certified equipment where
the suitability of the combination is determined by the CSA International.
3. Series 1658 appliance component protectors are for use in circuit which have a max short
circuit capacity of 2000A and are protected by fuses rated four times the current rating of
the protector, but not less than 15A.

0.63 to 10A, 250V ac, 0.63 to 5A, 60V dc, 5.5 to 8A, 48V dc.
Supplementary protectors intended for pcb mounting, Type 48-08/808, rated 0.01-5A, 120V
ac, 60V dc, 0.01-8A, 60V dc and Type 48-09/809, rated 0.006-3A, 120V ac, 60V dc.
Supplementary protectors, Series 413, 41-3, 30-90A, 28Vdc and less, 1-pole.
