ELECTRICAL INTERCONNECTION
BEFORE CONNECTING
For the professional installation of a sound system, car audio retail stores offers appropriate wiring kits. Ensure
a sufcient prole section and a suitable fuse rating and the conductivity of the cables when you purchase
your wiring kit. Clean and remove rust-streaked and oxidized areas on the contact points of the battery and the
ground connection. Make sure that all screws are xed tight after the installation, because loose connections
cause malfunctions, insufcient power supply or interferences.

+12V
Connect the 12 volt terminal of the amplier to the positive pole of the power capacitor by using a suit-
able cable (refer to the table on the next page). Then connect the positive pole of the power capacitor
to the 12 volt positive pole of the vehicle battery.
ATTENTION: Use for the connection a sufciently dimensioned cable of at least Ø 50 mm

with a total
length of max. 2 meters. If you use a longer cable, the cross-section must be correspondingly larger.
Use a very short cable length from the amplier to the power capacitor, which should be mounted
close as possible to the amplier.

REM
Connect the turn-on signal from the head unit / car radio (REM) with the REM terminal of the power
capacitor. Then connect the REM terminal of the power capacitor with the REM terminal of the ampli-
er. Hereby the amplier and the power capacitor are turning on or off with the head unit / car radio.
Use therefor a suitable cable with a sufcient cross section (0,5 mm
