subfolder.
3 SelecttheappropriateESXServ erintheinventorypanel.
4Fromthemainorrightclickpopupmenu,chooseRebootorShutDown,as
appropriate.
IfRebootisselected,theESXServershutsdownandreboots.
IfShutDownisselected,theESXServershutsdown.Youmustmanually
powerthesystembackon.
5Provideareasonfortheshutdown.

2Executetheshutdowncommand.

3Pressthepowerbuttonuntilthemachinepowersoff.
VirtualCenter Server
VirtualCentermanagesmultiplehoststhatcancontainmultiplevirtualmachines.To
performanyactivitieswiththeVirtualCenter,youmustusetheVMwareInfrastructure
Client.
TheVirtualCenterServerstartswhenyoustarttheWindowsmachineonwhichitis
installed.Italsorestartswhenthismachineisrebooted.
