1FromtheVIClientconnectedtoaVirtualCenterServer,clicktheScheduledTasks

optioninthenavigationbar.

Thecurrentlistofscheduledtasksappears.

2ClickNewinthetoolbar,orchooseFile>New>ScheduledTask.

3 Selectthetaskyouwant

toschedulefromthedropdownmenu.ClickOK.

4Completethetask‐specificinformation.

TheNewTaskwizarddisplaysaseriesofpagesthatcorrespondtothepagesyou

seewhenyouperformthetaskstartingfromtheselectedobject.

Seethesectionorthemanualthatisappropriateforeach

optionforspecific

informationoneachtask.Mostoftheschedulingprocessesdifferfrommanually

performedtasksonlyinthatyoumustspecifythevirtualmachine,host,or

datacentertowhichthetaskappliesandspecifythetimetoperformthetask.
