To change the permission role for a user or group
1FromtheVIClient,clicktheInventorybuttoninthenavigationbar. Expandthe
inventoryasneeded,andclicktheappropriateobject.
2Withtheobjectselected,clickthePermissionstab.
3Toselecttheuserorgroup+rolepairthatyouwanttochange,clicktheappropriate
lineitem.
4 ChooseInventory>Permissions>Properties.
5Toselecttheappropriaterolefortheuserorgroup,choosefromthedrop‐down
menu.ClickOK.
6Topropagatetheprivilegestothechildrenoftheassignedinventoryobject,click
thePropagatecheckbox.
