With boththehumidifierand remotecontrol OFF,
Pressthe I/Obuttononthe remotecontrolonce.
Thisturnsthe humidifierONand enablesthe
remotecontrolto operateallthefunctionsofthe
humidifier.
(Thehumidifiercontrolpanelwill displayEC,for
ExternalCon!rol)
Pressthe respectivehumidityandFanSpeed
buttonsto adjustthe settingson theremote,just
as youwouldthe actualhumidifier.
Thedefaultsettingfortemperaturereadoutis
Fahrenheit(F). IfyoupreferdegreesCelsius(C),
pressth_ 1/Obuttononemoretimetousethat unit
of measure.
PressingtheI/Obuttononemoretimewillbrn
both theRemoteControlandtheHumidifierOFF.
Ifthe Humidifierisa]readyonandoperatingwhenthe I/O buttonontheremoteis pressed,
commandof thehumidifiertransfersto the Remote,andrevertsto thesettingslast usedwiththe
remote.Youcan readjustthe settingsas desired•
Ifthe controlsonthehumidifierare usedwhiletheRemoteControlis in command,controlwill
revertto thehumidifier,ahdthe settingswill revertto thoselastusedonthehumidifiercontrol
- panel•Theremotecontrolwillremainonuntilturnedoff.
