KV Lock The following list describes how the latchbolt, outside lever/knob, and
inside lever/knob operates for the KV function.
NV–Latch without key override
Latchbolt operated by:
outside lever/knob—unless locked by
internal motor drive mechanism
inside lever/knob
Outside lever/knob locked by:
internal motor drive mechanism operated
by time–activated electronic signal or by
valid card/PIN
Outside lever/knob unlocked by:
internal motor drive mechanism operated
by time–activated electronic signal or by
valid card/PIN
Inside lever/knob is always unlocked
DV–Cylindrical latch with key override
Latchbolt operated by:
outside key
outside lever/knob—unless locked by
internal motor drive mechanism
inside lever/knob
Outside lever/knob locked by:
internal motor drive mechanism operated
by time–activated electronic signal or by
valid card/PIN
Outside lever/knob unlocked by:
