Using the K1-ERM with a PC

! Connecting the K1-ERM to a PC
Connect the ERM to a PC using a serial cable (not included)
through the Serial COM Port. (The K1-ERM is set for 9600 baud.)

! Installing the CD-ROM
Install the “KeypadUtils12.exe” from the enclosed CD. The files will
default to C:\Program Files\Essex\EZKey unless otherwise re-
directed.
