Care@Home™ C7000 User Guide
The C7000 has a rechargeable battery as a backup power source. The C7000 communicates with the
monitoring station using a cellular network or a standard telephone network Public Switched
Telephone Network (PSTN) landline or Ethernet, according to the C7000 version. Cellular and
Ethernet communication are supported by Pro, Family, and PERS. PSTN communication is supported
by PERS. If there is a communications failure, the C7000 saves messages and sends them when
communications are restored.
