Appendix A Testing Peripherals
The C7000 enables testing paired peripherals to ensure that all components work properly.
Testing Activity Sensors
The C7000 responds with a voice message after each interaction with a peripheral. If the C7000 does
not respond, make a note and continue testing.
To test the activity sensors:
1. Push a probe into the C7000’s TEST pinhole, once or twice, until the C7000 responds “Installation
test starts”.
2. Test the MGLSs:
a. Open and close the main door.
b. Open and close the refrigerator door.
3. Walk past each PIR.
4. Push a probe into the control panel’s TEST pinhole until the C7000 responds, “Installation test
ends”.
