In case the device to be removed participates in a scenario (see example in paragraph 3.14.4.3
below), the following error message will pop-up instead:

Device Participating in a Scenario
The button need to be clicked upon following the press on the pairing button on the
Z-Wave
®
remotely controlled device.
The device selected will be removed from the system and its row, in the left pane, will be
deleted.
For example:
The system presented in Figure 156 below has four (4) Z-Wave
®
remotely controlled devices –
a dimmer, a door lock, a thermostat and a switch.
Assuming the dimmer need to be removed:
1. Click over the first row in the left pane (the dimmer row) to select it.
2. The row will be highlighted.
