14. Screw the paddle together. Start by pushing
two union nuts over one of the shaft
sections. Then firmly tighten all the other
elements in turn as illustrated.

The longer part of the
shaft, from the marking to
the end of the paddle
shaft, must be directed
towards the paddle blade.
The middle paddle
section is marked
with red ends.
Twist the paddle blades so that they are at right angles to each other.
Try out a position where the paddle blades are comfortable for you to use.
