Harddisk state: After the harddisk is connected, the system will detect if the
harddisk is correct automatically. If the harddisk needs formatting,
“Unformatted” will be displayed in the harddisk state, when you can click
“Format HDD” to format the harddisk. If the system detects any available
harddisk, the harddisk state will be “Normal”;
Total capacity of harddisk: referring to the total storage capacity of the
harddisk;
Available space of Harddisk: referring to the current remaining storage space of
the harddisk;
Time remaining: referring to the time remaining for recording based on the
currently set picture “detail” and “bit rate”;
Overwrite: On: The harddisk will overwrite the earliest record when its memory
is full; Off: Recording will stop when the memory of the harddisk is full;
Formatting of hard risk: If the harddisk is used for the first time, it is often
necessary to format the harddisk. Click the “Format HDD” button, and then click
“Enter” for formatting in the pop-up prompt message dialog box, otherwise click
“Cancel”. After clicking “Format HDD”, the system will prompt “You will lose
all data by formatting the harddisk. Will you continue?” Then press “Enter”, and
the system will prompt “Formatting…” and then “Formatting Successful”. The
system will restart automatically;
Formatting of U-disk: formatting the data in the U-disk.
The “Default” button is used to restore the factory default values.
